Rocky Ford rapids - KDWP access (below Tuttle Cr Reservoir) 1,000 cfs - minimum for adequate play 2,600 cfs - optimum play 3,500 cfs - maximum before washing out CAUTION: Stay well below and out of the low head dam at Rocky Ford Class III Driving Directions From I-70: Take Exit 313. North on Hwy 177 to Manhattan. Bear right as you cross the Kansas River. Turn north (left) onto Tuttle Creek Blvd, aka Hwy 24. Take Hwy 24 north (~3-4 miles) to Barnes Rd. Turn east (right) onto Barnes Rd. Take Barnes Rd for (~3-4 miles) to the Rocky Ford Wildlife Area access Rd. Turn west (left) on the Rocky Ford Wildlife access Rd.
