You float on some flat muddy water that smells like pig sh*t for the first mile or so, then around a corner the muddy banks give way to a small rocky gorge with some pretty fun class II+ III- boulder gardens...

To bad you can't go this time around, but the group seems to be coming together pretty good now. I've been surprised on how many of my boating...

Middle Fork Salmon June 16

Anyone interested in A MFS trip June 16? I pulled a permit and figured I'd give a shout out to Kansas paddlers! I am trying to put together a good group of fun and safe boaters with some solid class IV skills. It will be my first trip on the MFS, so I'm not quite sure what to expect and who knows( a...

Chaw Falls Video

https://vimeo.com/74433140 I didn't get to paddle much this summer, but did get to enjoy some nice local rainfall in late July. When these waterfalls are juicin' you can hear and see boulders tumbling and exploding and pretty much watch the drops change before you eyes. Sometimes you can drop them f...

Ya'll have a great time this weekend!! I'm probably not going to make it to Bailey Fest this year, unless I get a wild hair-ball or find someone to split gas with haha. I'd be keen to check out some boating out east this fall. I've never paddled anything out that way, but it looks beautiful.
