Pool Sessions or Warm lakes with easy access

Post by JMO » Wed Jun 08, 2016 4:08 pm

Are there any pools with summer access? I want to teach a friend to roll.

Think pool sessions are over. What part of town are you in?

I am in Parkville and I have friends interested in learning from Overland Park.

Shawnee mission park seems pretty clean, it requires a park sticker you can purchase at the main building at the east entrance. Lake Lenexa isn't bad either.

Back in the day we used to go to south park lake at 87th and Metcalf and that didn't require anything but that was a long time ago.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check them out. Do any of these options have a gradual walk out so I could stand in the water to instruct?

Hope to get on some waves with you guys soon when the levels come in.
