roll instruction?

Post by mjcook84 » Wed Jul 27, 2016 8:18 am

Hey all. This probably should have gone in the "New Boater" forum, but this appeared to be more active, so I'm posting here.

Would anyone be interested in providing some instruction (particularly on rolling)? I'm near lawrence, so KC, Lawrence, or Topeka are preferred. Last fall I took a lesson out in Colorado, and I'd like a bit of a refresher before I head out again this year. I don't have any gear, and have only taken one lesson, but was able to roll a few times on their pond.

If anyone is interested, let me know and we can discuss schedule and price. I'm thinking a couple hours at most, but am open to suggestions.

Thanks,
Matt

If you are in Lawrence, Dave (burr) is pretty active and might be willing to go to bowersock a lake for some rolling. In the past there has been some flatwater practice in kansas city but I don't know the status on that this year.

I can help you out with your roll, no charge. Either at Clinton Lake or Bowersock dam. Sent you a PM.
