Rain, rain, rain... paddle!

Post by Fish » Tue Sep 30, 2014 8:49 am

Looks like 2" of rain in the forecast between now and Thurs afternoon. Anyone else on a hair trigger to get out and boat something? Can I get an "amen"?

Tryst Falls just went off big - should probably settle to a sane level later this afternoon if it doesn't get more rain. Bring a tope and go getcha some!

Indian and Blue both rising and looks like they'll keep getting pounded for a while today. I'm heading out from work about 4, probably on the creeks by 5 or so. Come and get some.

The rivers were great yesterday. The wave at Mill was fun as usual with Andy, Brewer, Kevin, and myself making it out for that.

The Blue was at an awesome level. Maybe my favorite level yet. We had a good sized crew out to make that run. Tons of great play to be had at yesterdays level. Ford hole was looking pretty nasty. Andy hopped in it in his creekboat and took a hell of a ride.

Hopefully we get more fall rain soon.

Big rain today in KC. Tryst Falls in full flood... Bigger rain coming for N. AR and S. MO this weekend. Anybody else thinking of taking a creek boat south/east?

AR went off, or rather Osage Cr. did. Maybe the best class 4 creeking in the state!
