Waka Work Day 8-18-07

Postby jcyoung » Fri Aug 17, 2007 10:07 am

I am planning to be there by 9:00AM. I will bring a wheelbarrow, shovel and rake. Do we need anything else -- machetti, dancing girls, or pirhaps a choir singing inspirational songs of the 30's, 40's and 50's? If you want the choir, please let me know ASAP as they hate last minite gigs! Jim Y (The Man from MO)

I plan on being there between 9 and 9:30. Do you think we'll need a second wheelbarrow?

I just got the second kid set up to stay overnight with a friend so I can come in the morning. Will plan to be there at or before 9 AM. Will bring a wheelbarrow, shovels, rakes, pruners, etc.

I'll bring a three gallon thermos with ice water and some cups.

Do we need to channel the water under the path? I have some large diameter plastic drain pipe left over from another project I can bring if it will help. I also have rolls of landscape fabric and mesh if we need to stabalize some soil.

I have not been on the path since we built it so someone who has seen it lately advise me on whether I should bring pipe and/or fabric.
